The TPS After School Brick building Club with LEGO® bricks, provides a unique building experience where children learn through creative play. We encourage the children to build without instructions. Children are challenged each week with a different theme and we provide visual guides to kick start their ideas.

Throughout the term we watch the children evolve, they start to think differently, build differently and so creatively both individually and in teams. It’s so much fun and the kids love being able to show off their work in the Library each week!

Every week, you will be sent a link to photos of all the children’s Builds.

The club is always run by one or two facilitators depending on the number of participants. All our facilitators are parents from the school with verified Working With Children Checks.

How do the children get to the Club?

Children in years 1 – 6 will need to make their way to the Library Annexe room as soon as the bell goes. If your child doesn’t arrive, you will be contacted immediately and we will do our best to find your child if they have forgotten, have gone to kiss n drop or another meeting point.

Kindergarten children will be collected by the Brick Building Club Facilitator, from their class rooms as soon as the bell goes and escorted to the Brick Building Club Room. An early collection fee in the first few weeks of term 1 is available for a small fee.

What does my child need to bring?

Children will need to bring their own afternoon tea. – No nuts please!
